Project Lead The Way seeks to create dynamic partnerships with our nation’s schools to prepare an increasing and more diverse group of students to be successful in engineering and engineering technology programs by providing:

• A fully-developed curriculum for high schools and middle schools
• Extensive professional development for teachers
• School counselor professional development conferences
• Affordability through an optional national bid
• Key partnerships with State Education Departments
• College level certification, college course credit and middle school recognition
• Systematic evaluations
• Continuous improvement, using curriculum development framework

High School Pre-Engineering Curriculum Courses at Kennedy:
   1. Introduction to Engineering Design
   2. Digital Electronics
   3. Principles of Engineering
   4. Civil Engineering and Architectural
   5. Computer Integrated Manufacturing
   6. Engineering Design and Development

		This is a four year sequence of courses which, when combined 
with traditional mathematics and science courses in high school, introduces 
students to the scope, rigor and discipline of engineering prior to entering 
college. However, those not intending to pursue further formal education will 
benefit greatly from the knowledge and logical thought processes that result 
from taking some or all of the courses provided in the curriculum.
