Cisco Networking Academy

 

The Cisco Networking Academy is a program that leads to a Cisco networking administrator certificate which is highly regarded throughout the world. This is a college level program that is open to all students who will have a completed Algebra I and have excellent reading skills, as a large portion of the course is done over the internet.

The Cisco networking academy program teaches high school and college students how to design, build, and maintain computer networks through and innovative educational program.

The course curriculum offers new model for learning, accountability and benefits such as:

• 560-hour, 8 eight semester, web-based, hands-on curriculum; teaching Internet and technology literacy—and specific skills such as networking principles, building and maintenance.
• Curriculum correlated to national math and science standards; developed by educational and networking experts.
• Internship placements, college scholarships, and corporate sponsorship opportunities
• Prepares students for college, good jobs—and the 21st century
• Provides vital technology support and resources for schools
