To determine the rank in class, the following formula is to be used to calculate Q.P.R. Total Quality Points = Quality Point Ratio Total Number of Courses Taken 3.

4. Class Ranking A student must be in attendance in the Waterbury School System for at least 3 continuous semesters (1 1/2 years) to be considered for all academic recognition related to class rank. 5. Honor Roll: The designation of High Honors, First Honors, and Second Honors will be determined by the student's Q.P.R. each marking period. Highest Honors 10.0 - 12.0 Q.P.R. First Honors 9.0 - 9.9 Q.P.R. Second Honors 7.0 - 8.9 Q.P.R. 6. Graduation Requirements: 22 Carnegie Units are required for graduation. All students must follow the core curriculum as outlined by the Board of Education.
